Key Activities in 2022

  • In 2022, energy companies, power companies, and supplier companies established numerous offshore wind consortia in order to position themselves for both Norwegian and international calls for proposals. Considerable effort is required to win contracts as smaller suppliers in this market. Two customer advisers at the Rogaland office therefore spend much of their time making supplier companies across the country attractive in the offshore wind market.
  • In 2022, the Rogaland office secured growth funding for several exciting companies with the help of our various innovation loans. In terms of the breadth of the programmes, we are a ‘10 per cent county’, however, with these loan programmes we allocated no less than 28 per cent of the national pot in 2022.
  • Our regional business development winner for the year was again nominated for the national award. It started a cheese factory and farm shop based on its own milk just before the Covid pandemic and is already selling award winning cheese to almost 300 shops across the country. It combines the best of large-scale milk production with locally sourced food development and tourism experiences as one of many players in Jæren.
