Other assignments
Innovation Norway is tasked with triggering commercially and socio-economically profitable business development throughout the country. This takes place based on annual assignments and appropriations from various ministries and county authorities.
There are two different types of assignment: For the first type of assignment, the goal is to create more successful entrepreneurs, more companies with growth potential and more innovative business clusters in Norway. For these assignments, separate effect measurements have been established (see separate information).
The second group involves special assignments related to activities that, for various reasons, do not have the same measurement regime in terms of effects. This includes agriculture and other special assignments such as travel and tourism profiling, EU-oriented services and management of EEA funds.
