88 per cent of customers said that funding was decisive for realising the project. Distribution of answers in percentages:

The additionality says something about the extent to which the companies perceive that Innovation Norway's contribution has been the trigger for the implementation of the project. Source is the Customer Impact Survey - pre-survey 2022 (and earlier years) from Oxford Research. The survey was carried out after the customer received support from Innovation Norway.

In the survey for 2022, 88 per cent respond positively that Innovation Norway's contribution has been the trigger for the implementation of the project.

The indicator for release rate (additionality) in 2022 is not directly comparable with previous indicators. The decrease in additionality is due to the fact that additionality has been tried to be measured using several questions instead of one question previously. The additionality has also never been as high as during the corona crisis in 2020 and 2021, which indicated that Innovation Norway's support was important for the companies' innovation and development work during the pandemic.

The experiences with the questions that have been used in 2022 indicate that we will return to asking one question from 2023 onwards.
