Including the money from Innovation Norway, NOK 24.2 billion was invested in innovation activities in 2022. Corresponding figures for the "exceptional years" 2021 and 2020 were NOK 31.5 and 32.8 billion respectively, and for the "normal" year 2019 it was NOK 17.9 billion kroner.
The companies' own financing has been reduced by 20.9 per cent from 2021. Innovation Norway's financing has been reduced by 18.8 per cent, but NOK 1 from IN still triggers almost NOK 2 in other capital.
