Finnmark 2006

Compared with other counties, Innovation Norway in Finnmark’s activities are particularly crucial to regional policy work for business and industry. The office has good cooperation with the county authority, county governor and the municipalities in the county, as well as business and industry organisations and environments.

Our vision is “We give local ideas global opportunities” by contributing to the establishment, development and restructuring of business, industry and society throughout the entire county. With over 700 employees in Norway and abroad, the office in Finnmark will be able to contribute competence, networks and venture capital to fulfil this vision.

The internationalisation activities in the county are increasing. We define internationalisation as the enterprises’ ability to sell products and services in other countries. It also means the enterprises’ ability to withstand competition from other countries. Around 30% of all the projects in 2006 are aimed at the international market.
