Telemark 2006

In 2006 Innovation Norway awarded grants from Innovation Norway’s budgets (i.e. excluding Regionally Differentiated Employers’ National Insurance Contribution funds) totalling NOK 148,070,000.

Design is a prioritised area in Innovation Norway. Therefore the office shares a project manager for design with Vestfold and Buskerud. It is important to have state-of-the-art expertise for the evaluation and follow-up of projects in this area.

For three years the office has been responsible for a major Arena project focusing on environmental and energy technology. Key to this project has been the strengthening of the business and competence networks in this sector in the region (Green Partner and GassTek), in addition to reinforcement of the relationship between the regional university college and the business environment in the environmental energy sector.
