Oppland 2006

Innovation Norway in Oppland cooperates well with the Oppland County Authority and the regional partnership. The office plays a key role in the development of the Regional Plan of Action and is responsible for a number of the measures.

Oppland County is divided into six regions and all the regions have demonstrated their prioritised focus areas and strategies. The regional office has contributed financing and competence, in addition to participation in networks in all the regions.

There is an overall decline in the population in Oppland, even though an increase has been registered in Lillehammer, Gjøvik and the Hadeland municipalities. Accordingly it is a great challenge to contribute to increased value creation in the weak business and industry areas.
